Entry for the first Hertfordshire Digital Awards is set to close in just two weeks.
Applications have been pouring in for the HDAs which was launched earlier in the year to showcase the online achievements of businesses, schools and charities from across the county.
With an exciting range of categories and an entry system which takes two minutes to complete, the HDA has already built up a strong following.
Entry will close on July 17, 2015.
Iain Johnson from Premio64, the organisation behind the awards, revealed that he is “taken aback” by the quantity of entries.
He said: “People in Hertfordshire are clearly embracing and enjoying all aspects of digital media in their work.
“Since launching these Awards, the reaction from businesses, schools and charities across the county has been amazing.
“But, if you haven’t yet submitted entries there is still three weeks left to do so.
“Why enter? Well, it’s free to do, takes less than two minutes and the publicity available for finalists and winners is a game-changer.”
The HDAs is backed by media partners the Hertfordshire Mercury and sponsored by a range of organisations including Suit Recruit, a recruitment firm in Sawbridgeworth, the Hertfordshire Local Enterprise Partnership, Capricorn Media, Noise PR and designsixtyfour.
It was announced this week that the Hertfordshire Local Enterprise Partnership would also be backing the scheme.
He added: “Walking away with a HDA will improve your public relations and give your staff a big boost.”
The categories include “Website”, “Responsive Website”, “Blog”, “Use of Social Media for Business”, “Use of Video for Business”, “Online Marketing Campaign”, “School, Education or Charity Website”, “Small Business Website”, “Online Business” and “Mobile App”.
Gold, Silver and Bronze awards will be presented at the Winners’ Evening at Holiday Inn, Stevenage, on September 24, 2015.
