A ground-breaking new awards scheme that recognises the online achievements of businesses, schools and charities from across Milton Keynes has been launched.
The Milton Keynes Digital Awards (MKDA) – which offers gold, silver and bronze prizes for excellence across 14 categories is free to enter and it takes less than two minutes to complete and application.
It is the first time that organisations from Milton Keynes will be able to compete for a range of accolades based solely upon their work online and entry into the scheme opened in May 2015.

“Use of Social Media”, “Online Business” and “Mobile App” are just three of the categories to be judged by an independent panel of experts from the digital arena.
The other categories include “Blog”, “Lifestyle & Culture Website”, “Sports & Entertainment Website”, “Tourism & Hospitality Website”, “Marketing & Creative Website”, “Use of Video For Business”, “Online Marketing Campaign”, “School, Education or Charity Website”, “Responsive Website”, “Small Business Website” and the blue ribbon accolade for “Website”.
Iain Johnson, from Premio64, the organisation behind the awards said: “Milton Keynes has a thriving businesses community and boasts many of Buckinghamshire’s most forward-thinking firms.
“This is a golden opportunity for companies of all sizes and industries to gain recognition and publicity of their online work and we anticipate a very exciting inaugural event.”
The closing date for entries is September 18, 2015 and a special awards evening will be held on December 3.
