A new online video directory offering businesses a platform to showcase their services for free is sponsoring the Essex Digital Awards.
Essex-based Dingvideo.com – described as the missing link between business and social media – provides a web platform for the corporate world to promote products and services through video footage.
The Internet directory was launched earlier this year and counts The Ritz, Legoland and Cadbury World, in Birmingham, among its clients.
Each set of film content – which is free to upload for any business under Dingvideo.com’s standard service terms and conditions – is classified into a category allowing for intuitive searches, according to Billy Smith, the owner of Ding Video.
There is a fee to secure one of the website’s “Sponsored Video” or “Featured Video” positions on the homepage.
The consumer-focused product or service categories include Holidays & Travel, Events and Items For Sale.
Mr Smith said: “At Dingvideo.com we know promotional videos are the best way to showcase your company or its products and that’s why we not only promote your videos, we make it the simplest thing in the world for your prospective clients to get in touch with you.
“Whether by phone, by e-mail or social media we make sure your customers can contact you.”
Dingvideo.com chose to back the Essex Digital Awards (EDAs) 2015, following success of the scheme’s inaugural event in April.
Benefits of the sponsorship package include coverage in the Essex Chronicle, social media advertising, exposure on the EDAs website and at the Winners’ Evening which will be held at the Weston Homes Community Stadium, in Colchester, on April 23, 2015.
Entry to the EDAs is free and takes less than two minutes to complete.
