Entry for the Essex Digital Awards is set to close in one month.
Applications have been pouring in for the EDAs which was launched in 2014 to celebrate the online achievements of businesses, schools and charities from across the county.
With ten categories and an entry system which takes less than two minutes to complete, the EDAs has built-up an outstanding following since launching last year.
Iain Johnson from Premio64, the organisation behind the awards revealed he is “blown away” by the amount of entries, which is already more than double the volume received for the 2014 contest.
He added: “Stop press! This reaction has been extraordinary.
“There is still one month left to make a free entry, but we have already been inundated with a plethora of applications.
“The first class publicity and coverage to be had for winners and finalists through our media partner, the Essex Chronicle Media Group, and our own website is massive.”
The EDAs is backed by media partners the Essex Chronicle, Brentwood Gazette and Herts and Essex Observer.
He added: “Consider how walking away with an EDA could dramatically transform your public relations and improve staff morale.
“Act now if you don’t want to miss out, it could be the best thing you’ve ever done in business”.
There are ten categories including “Website”, “Responsive Website”, “Blog”, “Use of Social Media for Business”, “Use of Video for Business”, “Online Marketing Campaign”, “School, Education or Charity Website”, “Small Business Website”, “Online Business” and “Mobile App”.
Gold, silver and bronze awards will be presented at the Winners’ Evening at Weston Homes Community Stadium, Colchester, on April 23, 2015.
